Green Bay looks great again beating the lions

Favre continues to show dominance and the packers roll to another win to become 10-1.  Tied with the Dallas Cowboys, they face each other next Thursday to determine the leader of the NFC.

Charles Woodson left the game early with a toe injury, but thankfully it’s not broken.  He is hopeful to play in Week 13 against the Cowboys.

Donald Driver caught 10 passes for 147 yards, but Greg Jennings was again the key target in the red zone, with two touchdowns.  Driver has not caught a touchdown pass since Week 3.

Ryan Grant looked great once again rushing for over 100 yards and a touchdown.  The Pack have finally found their running game.

Looking forward to next week; should be a great game.  Happy Thanksgiving all!

My Week 6 NFL picks (with bias toward my fantasy team of course)

1. Minnesota vs. Chicago: #1 run defense Minnesota allows 200 rushing yards for Cedric Benson in a win over the Chicago Bears.  That’s right, I said win.  Because the Vikings D is going to intercept Brian Griese 3 times and return everything for a touchdown.  P.S. Adrian Peterson runs for daylight, but finds no sun on this cloudy day.

2. Miami vs. Cleveland: Miami starts out 0-6.  I’m not starting Joe Jurevicius, since Braylon Edwards is getting all the attention, so no big deal here.

3. Washington vs. Green Bay: In a convincing win, Green Bay is able to bounce back from last week’s tough loss against the Bears.  Donald Driver rolls up 136 yards and two touchdowns, while the Packer D is just too much for Washington’s running game.

4. Cincinnati vs. Kansas City:  Look for Larry Johnson to finally have a breakout game against the league’s worst defense.  However, the Bengals offense is just too much for Kansas City to contain.  Bengals roll.

5. Tennessee vs. Tampa Bay: Tampa Bay continues to have running back problems as Michael Pittman is now out for at least two months with an ankle sprain.  Both defenses are among the top 10 in the league right now, so if Vince Young and company can get out front early, I see the Titans winning this game.

6. St. Louis vs. Baltimore:  Baltimore’s defense is just too much for the Rams injuries on offense.  Gus Frerotte will have to throw a lot in this one for the Rams to stay in the game.

7. Houston vs. Jacksonville: Ahman Green returns this week for the Texans, which is a good thing because they’ll need him this week.  The Jaguars D is second in the league right now so if their offense can do its job, then I don’t see any problem with Jacksonville winning this game.

8. Philadelphia vs. New York Jets: Coming off a bye week, the Eagles are hungry for a win.  Chad Pennington’s problems continue against the Eagles defense, however, Jerricho Cotchery slips through with 86 yards and a touchdown.  Eagles win this game.

9. Carolina vs. Arizona: Whoever listened to me and picked up Kurt Warner, congratulations on a big game.  Those of you who didn’t, I don’t feel sorry for you at all.  Cardinals win.

10. Oakland vs. San Diego: San Diego, but barely.  Philip Rivers is just too unpredictable.

11. New Orleans vs. Seattle: Reggie Bush has the best game of his career Sunday night in the national TV spotlight.  Three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving, lead New Orleans to their first win of the season.

12. New York Giants vs. Atlanta: Does anybody know who the Falcons quarterback is?  It doesn’t really matter against this Giants team.  Jeremy Shockey racks up a touchdown and 65 yards receiving in this Giants victory.

13. New England vs. Dallas: Without argument this is definitely the biggest game of the year.  Dallas is good, but New England is pure excellence.  Don’t look for Tony Romo to throw five picks this week, but New England’s defense is just too smart for Dallas.  New England wins this game 28-24.

P.S.  Tom Brady throws those four touchdown passes to Wes Welker :P

T.O’s message to the press

"Dear Reporters,

Brilliant.  Can’t wait to see this game.

Help Stop Puppy Mills

As consumers, we have the power to stop the cruel cycle of animal abuse perpetuated by puppy mills.
When we buy a pet or even shop at a store that sells puppies, we contribute to a heartless underground industry that forces dogs to spend their entire lives in cages constantly breeding to support consumer demand for puppies.
