I first read about this on CNN this morning.  They didn’t list North Dakota as being one of the states affected, however I’m sure it is.  Interesting to see what they are going to do about it.

Today’s high is -10, with wind chills around -30.  Tonight’s low is -25, with wind chills approaching -50.  How the pioneers lived through this I’ll never know.

as time goes by there seems to be a growing trend amongst those people lucky enough to afford it / mental enough to spend all available cash on it: home cinemas. huge screens, incredible sound systems and luxurious seats are popping up in seemingly spare rooms and basements larger than my entire flat.
